Families paying full tuition receive two professionally produced CD's, one songbook, and all classes within the session. (New families also receive a DVD). In addition, families will be provided with an access code for the online Family Portal which includes video and activities as well as downloadable coloring pages and the option to download your CD directly to your mp3 player.
We try to maintain a certain level of flexibility because we know scheduling can sometimes be difficult with young children. All families are entitled to two make-up classes per semester. To schedule, go to the home page of this site and click "make-up scheduler". If you need additional makeups, please don't hesitate to ask but we kindly ask that all makeups be done within the same session.
We love to have visiting grandparents or family visiting from out of town. Please let us know so that we can make sure we can accommodate visitors in our space.
Unregistered children may join you in our class. The fee for this service is $15 per child, payable at the time of class.
You may bring a drink for yourself or your children in a spill proof cup.
Nursing mothers are welcome to feed their children in our classes.
We have many children in our classes with food allergies and therefore ask that you do not bring food into the classroom.
If Milford Public School is closed, MTBV Milford will also be closed. The home page of this site and our facebook page will be updated as early in the morning as possible. In addition, MTBV is part of WCVB school closings so if you would like to be notified via email, please sign up or you can also check their school closings page online (it will only be posted online). Please feel free to call if you are unsure (508) 377-3722. If class is cancelled due to inclement weather, we will make it up at a later date.
We have a flexible makeup policy as explained above so please stay home if either you or your child is under the weather.
Please arrive approximately five minutes early for your class. Our teachers strive to start each class on time.
Please leave toys and other distractions in the car.
Do not bring strollers or carriages into the facility.
Use of cell phones and other electronic devices is not allowed in our classroom.
We have two doors into our beautiful classroom and kindly ask that you enter through the clearly marked BACK DOOR because just inside this door is the coatroom and bathroom. Shoes should be removed before entering the classroom so please wear socks or bring slippers. Leave your belongings in the coatroom and enter the classroom.
The instruments that we use in class are cleaned with a botanical disinfectant called Benefect. The active ingredient in this disinfectant is thyme oil. If your child puts an instrument in his/her mouth, please place it out of circulation in our "wet basket" so it can be cleaned before it's next use.
