What People Say

See what our parents and students have to say about our classes.

We started taking Music Together® classes when my daughter was a year old and I was a tired new mom. The trained musician in me wanted to give my daughter a musical upbringing from the start, and Music Together fit into that perfectly. The tired new mom in me wanted a guaranteed hour of carefree fun with my child each week, and maybe some fellowship with other equally tired moms. I was lucky enough to find all of these things and more.

Supporting a child's early musical development is so important, as it helps children develop basic musical competence that will be the foundation for formal music study in later years. Development of musical skill intertwines with language, cognitive, and motor development. Music Together classes are not just about music. They're a way to support healthy, well-rounded development. It may look like unstructured fun, but each class is planned very carefully to target music skills in a developmentally appropriate way.

I would highly recommend Music Together of Blackstone Valley to any family who is looking for a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment to celebrate music with their children.

I cannot say enough about Music Together... My son (now almost 9) started MT when he was 18 months and continued until right before school started. Seven years later, I have started the classes again with my second son. I have been one lucky mom to be able to spend those solid 45 minutes with my child...singing...dancing...playing with drums...bells and having a great time! I can honestly say continuous early exposure to the Music Together experience has contributed not only to both my sons love of music, but my older son's success in school."

As a stay at home dad, I am always looking for new and fun activities.  We had heard really good things about  Music Together when my son was just an infant, so we decided to try it out.  Two year later, we are still going to Music Together.  The class has been fun and exciting for my now toddler son, for my infant daughter, and for me!  Music Together offers classes for a variety of times and days to fit any schedule.  It's a fun atmosphere where kids and parents can enjoy new songs and rhythms, try out different percussion instruments, and interact with other kids in a positive way.  The quality of music instructors is fantastic, and they facilitate a comfortable atmosphere and a freedom of expression for everyone attending.  The extra CD's each session are great to experience Music Together in the comfort of your home (or sing along in your car!).  Our son likes to demonstrate the movements he learned in class at home and really seems to remember the songs, even if he hasn't heard them in several months.  I highly recommend trying out Music Together for yourself.
